Description
Introduction to QGIS training for Kadaster Curaçao. The in-person training covers theory and practice. Theory is tested with Kahoot quizzes. Topics: georeferencing of a scanned map, digitizing and styling vectors, adding labels, installing plugins, downloading OpenStreetMap data, vector analysis (clip, buffer, dissolve, intersect), working with raster data, styling raster layers, adding data from OGC web services, map design. For the final assignment the participants present a well-designed map.
